One of the best articles ever on "Why Work?" I am currently teaching a "Jobs for Life" course and our lesson today was "Why Work?" Just perfect for us to use this lesson in our class. Excellent article.

Sadly, those bugs have friends, and they do have the guts to keep up the good work...lol.

Very much enjoyed this, Steve. Thank you for your newsletters.

Steve, another great article. They keep on coming. They take me back to my childhood. I delivered papers 6 days a week and worked as a farm hand. Both started when I rode a bicycle. Thirty nine plus years at General Motors, missing 3 days work total. We grew up never thinking any different. Thank you

Thank you for this one, Steve! We seem, as a society, to have adopted the work ethic of the men/women who carried us through the years, especially WWII! Thankful for parents of this generation who knew hardship and taught us how to work and save.

As I read your newsletter, my parents immediately came to mind. They were the most hard working people I know and the best examples of the Biblical description of what Paul was talking about. They grew up during the Great Depression and World War II, my father having served in the jungles of New Guinea. They taught me hard work is admirable and that my word was my bond. I wish I had appreciated it more when I was younger, but I certainly grew up with those values instilled in me.

Thank you, Steve, for such a good article!
