Last Sunday, I surveyed our class of first graders. 'Do you need to be good to go to heaven?' I was dismayed with the results. We'll be looking for more ways to emphasize the five solas within the curriculum because the gospel message is neither cultural nor intuitive. As G.K. Chesterton points out, the gospel is such good news fairy tales parallel it.
I stumbled across a movie recently that makes this point. ‘SEVEN DAYS IN UTOPIA’ starring Robert Duval and Lucas Black. Great message in a modern setting. It was somewhere on Amazon network.
